We are proud to announce, that the Linguistic Department has successfully established cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Translators (UAT) and gained full membership.

This is only the first step in the integration of LRDD into the translation community of Ukraine and globally, which signifies our openness, focus on development and experience exchange .

In the future, the joint work of LRDD and UAP is expected in the following areas:

- introduction and implementation of translators' certification;
- organization of professional development of translators;
- implementation of international standards in the field of translation;
- expanding the institutional capacities of LRDD with the involvement of the translation community;
- specialized discussion of translation studies;
- mutual consultation in relevant areas;
- work on educational translation projects;
- development of common standards and guidelines for quality assurance and quality control of translation;
- maintaining the image of the profession of "translator";

and other areas that will contribute to the achievement of common goals.
