The participation in the seminar “The usage of special military terminology”

The main attention in the course of the activity of the Linguistic department in 2018 will be aimed at the improving the level of qualification and professional growth of our personnel. In addition to the planned online courses and webinars, that will be included to the individual plans of work and their attendance is going to be considered as obligatory the representatives of the department will also have the opportunity to attend different courses not only in Ukraine but also abroad. A great start for the further realization of the set plans is the duty assignment of the deputy chief of the department lieutenant-colonel Andriy Galtschus to the German Federative Republic. For the period from the 5 January till 14 of February he is to actively participate in the seminar on “The usage of special military terminology”, which is taking place in Hürth Bundessprachenamt. The aim of this participation is the acquaintance with the Bundeswehr, it’s organizational structure and Land Forces. Also in the course of training the topics of establishing of military terminology in different countries and the main difficulties during the translation of German military terminology to different languages have been highlighted. The exercises with the participants of the seminar are conducted by experienced and qualified specialists.
